Terms of Service
Roblox Development Services — stackflows
Last updated — August 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all commissions, contract work, and asset sales provided by stackflows ("I", "me", "the Developer") to any client ("you", "the Client"). By commissioning work, hiring me for a project, or purchasing an asset, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not proceed with payment or commission.
1Scope of Services
I provide Roblox development services including but not limited to scripting, building/environments, UI design, modeling, systems design, full game development contracts, and premade asset sales. Every project begins with an agreed scope — this can be a written brief, a Discord conversation, or an order form — which defines what will be delivered.
Any request outside the originally agreed scope is treated as additional work and is not covered by the original price. See Section 5 (Scope Changes & Additional Requests).
2Payment Terms
- Smaller or shorter projects are typically paid once meaningful progress has been shown, at my discretion.
- For larger, longer, or more complex projects, I may request a deposit (commonly 50%) before work begins, with the remainder due before final delivery or handoff.
- Ongoing or monthly-retainer work is billed on a recurring basis as agreed at the start of that arrangement.
- All prices are agreed upon before work begins. I reserve the right to decline a project or pause work if payment terms are not honored.
- Payments are made via the method agreed at the start of the project (e.g. Robux, PayPal, or other agreed platform).
3Refund Policy
Once work has started on a project, payments made are non-refundable. This includes deposits. This policy exists because time and effort are committed to your project the moment work begins, regardless of whether the project is later cancelled, abandoned, or the client becomes unresponsive.
If a client goes silent or unresponsive mid-project, any amount already paid is retained and no further work is owed unless communication resumes and the project is continued.
Refund exceptions, if any, are granted solely at my discretion and are not guaranteed by these Terms.
4Revisions
The number of free revisions included, if any, will be agreed upon per project before work begins. Requests beyond the agreed revision count, or requests that significantly alter the original brief, may be charged as additional work at my standard rate.
5Scope Changes & Additional Requests
If, during a project, you request features, changes, or additions that were not part of the original agreed scope ("scope creep"), this work is not included in the original price. I will let you know when a request falls outside scope, and additional work will require a new quote or added charge before I proceed with it.
6Ownership & Usage Rights
Once a project is paid in full and delivered, ownership of the final product transfers to the Client. You are responsible for storing, backing up, and safeguarding your own files/assets after delivery — I am not responsible for lost files after handoff.
I retain the right to showcase any completed work in my portfolio, social media (including but not limited to Twitter/X), and promotional materials, unless a separate non-disclosure or portfolio-exclusion agreement is made in writing before the project begins. Requesting confidentiality does not entitle you to a discount or refund.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work delivered is for your use on the project it was commissioned for. Reselling, redistributing, or claiming original authorship of commissioned work as your own creation without agreement is not permitted.
7Delivery & Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed, as timelines can shift due to project complexity, revisions, or communication delays on either side. I will communicate delays as they arise.
8Client Responsibilities
- Provide clear, timely responses and any assets, references, or access needed to complete the work.
- Respond to check-ins and revision requests in a reasonable timeframe — prolonged unresponsiveness (commonly 7+ days without contact) may be treated as project abandonment under Section 3.
- Ensure payment methods used are legitimate; chargebacks or payment fraud will result in an immediate halt of work and may result in being blacklisted from future services.
9Limitation of Liability
I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use delivered work, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or game downtime. Work is delivered "as-is" following agreed testing, and it is the Client's responsibility to review and test delivered work promptly upon receipt.
I am not responsible for third-party platform issues, including but not limited to Roblox platform outages, moderation actions, policy changes, or account issues unrelated to the delivered work itself.
My total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that specific project.
10Right to Refuse or Terminate
I reserve the right to decline any commission or terminate an ongoing project at my discretion, including but not limited to cases involving abusive behavior, non-payment, illegal requests, or requests that violate Roblox's Terms of Service or Community Standards. In such cases, Section 3 (Refund Policy) still applies.
11Compliance with Roblox ToS
All work is created with the intention of complying with Roblox's Terms of Service and Community Standards. I will not knowingly create assets or scripts intended for exploiting, cheating, or violating Roblox policy. Clients are responsible for how delivered work is ultimately used within their own games/experiences.
12Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Active projects are generally governed by the Terms in place at the time the project began.
13Contact
